CHARACTER INFORMATION. Alignment: Chaotic Neutral. Gimmick: “One final shot to prove myself.” – Rebecca is - and always - her own worst critic. This season, or even the past calendar year, has not gone down well for Rebecca at all. Her past has been filled with constant failures over and over again with the drive to continue being a professional wrestler slowly fading away the more that this continued on. Something had to give at some point, she knew of it. However, what came was wiping the slate clean and becoming more jagged than ever before. Out of desperation, she was becoming something that she never recognised herself in becoming but to prove a point, she had to resort to these measures. She's neither a hero nor a villain, she's just herself - lost, and slowly fading out of reality.
RINGSIDE INFORMATION. Entrance Music: “Dark Beach” by Pastel Ghost. Entrance Description:The heavy rolling beats of “Dark Beach” began to echo through the speakers, the lights inside of the arena flashing through the crowd like a strobe light, spiraling around the building before it all circled around onto the stage where a figure stepped through the curtain. As if they were like an echoing whisper, the lyrics was heard coming through the speakers whilst the figure found their way onto the center of the stage – finally, they pulled the hood back and revealed Rebecca Brookes, a serious demeanor along their face as they slowly looked around the arena, into the crowd, and then eyes focused down onto the ring.
[X]: Introducing first/And their opponent… wrestling out of Anaheim, California and weighing in tonight at one hundred and fifty-nine pounds… The Brightburning Enigma… REBECCCCCAAAAAAA BRRRRROOOOOKESSSSSSSS!!!
She took a deep breath, rolling her shoulders, before beginning her slow walk towards the ring. For a moment, she paused as the strobing light followed her very steps down the ramp. Another look out into the crowd, then to those close to her, before shaking it off and finally making her way to the ring once again. Upon arriving, she leapt onto the apron and brushed her feet along the apron, stepping through the middle ropes and finding herself not showing any focus to her opponent but to herself as she crouched down into the corner and cracked her knuckles. A final deep breath taken before her eyes opened back up and she laid her eyes forward, focused, in the game, ready to fight.
MOTIVATION. Motivations For Competing: From once just trying to prove she was someone people desired to be the next big thing, now it’s a call out of desperation, a hunt for some treasured vanity, a plea for validation of what she used to be beforehand. Rebecca does not care for anyone’s thoughts or opinions. She’s in her own world now, shrouded by the fear of being left out once again, at war with her own mind in the hopes that she never falls behind again. She can’t afford to lose it all again, she can’t. This is what she has to do, she can only hope that her closest friends can understand that. Tendency To Cheat: In the most sincere circumstances, she can come down to getting down and dirty with the rules. Rebecca wouldn’t cheat even if her life depended on it, but if the case may be that her opponent attempts to cheat, she’ll use that momentum and answer back with something of her own.
