A devout follower of a feminine entity that he refers to as The Light, Alexander is cold, calculating and methodical. However, Alexander is not a monster, he does not force his, nor The Light’s will onto anyone who does not seek it out themselves; and he does not act without due reason; he is simply the embodiment of Her voice. There are some who would say that a vampire would get jealous of the way Alexander has manipulated people into his circle of influence, however he is only using the tools that he was given by his upbringing, as well as the gifts that The Light has chosen to bestow upon him. BACKSTORY – The son of a former evangelical preacher, turned psychic, turned owner of a nightclub in downtown San Francisco, and a lawyer; Alexander learned from an early age how to manipulate people. However, Alexander has chosen a different life than one of legality, or one that dances around it. He entered the wrestling world after earning a degree in anthropology, by joining and graduating from one of the dojos in Japan. However, Alex soon found himself subsequently fired, and blacklisted from wrestling in the country after confronting, and inevitably assaulting his trainer and dojo's promoter about dubious affairs the two were involved in. Since then, he has travelled the world honing his craft, with the intent to change wherever he goes, for what he believes is the better. It is unknown when he came in contact with The Light, but he has been the voice of her for some time now. IN-RING STYLE – Alexander is a skilled kickboxer, and once entering pro wrestling, he was trained in strong style, modern British, as well as modern American style wrestling. His main focus is his striking, but will often use his size and power to his advantage. ENTRANCE THEME – "Phantom Divine" by Kamelot ENTRANCE DESCRIPTION
The arena goes cold as the opening notes of “Phantom Divine” plays, sending the arena into darkness. However as the drums and melody play, a singular spotlight shines down bathing ALEXANDER VON ZAROVICH in light. Alexander raises his left arm up to the sky before extending it out towards the ring, which causes light to flood the entrance ramp, leaving the ring and crowd in the darkness.
“Entering first/next... from San Francisco, California weighing in at two hundred and sixty-eight pounds, and measuring in at six feet, seven inches… he is “The Lightbringer”… ALEXANDER VON ZAAAAAAROVIIIIIICH!”
Alexander slowly walks towards the ring. As he reaches the middle point of the ramp, he pauses to look around at the crowd hidden in the darkness. There is a cold, icy feel to his eyes as he slowly continues into the ring, making his way to the center of the ring, Alexander extends his arms out, and lowers his head in a very messianic pose as the audience eerily sings along to the chorus of Alexander’s music, light slowly begins to flood the entirety of the arena.
UNDER A PHANTOM DIVINE TOUCHED BY THE LIGHT… IN AMBROSIAL GRACE!
As the crowd sings along, Alexander raises his head and reaches his arm out forwards, beckoning towards the camera as light slowly begins to flood the entirety of the arena.
NO APPLAUSE FOR THE OLD PANTOMIME IN THE SHADOWS OF OUR DREAMS, A PHANTOM DIVINE…
Once the crowd finishes singing, Alexander moves to his corner and takes his coat off. He hands it to a ring hand before hopping up and sitting on the top turnbuckle, looking out at the crowd as he waits for the match to begin.
