CHARACTER INFORMATION Disposition/Alignment: Aggressive, shit-talking face Gimmick: The SJW the internet warned you about. The biggest riot-grrl inspired feminist, anarchist punk you’ve ever met. This is Daisy Thrash as she truly is and always will be. If this really is the “twilight’ of her career, she’s going out as her authentic self.
Strengths: Despite being older and shaking off that last bit of ring rust, Daisy's still one of the fastest around. She’s also bulked up a bit during her rehab time. She's survived several death matches and won't shy away from any sort of stipulation. She’s finally found security in who she is and what kind of performer she is, giving her more confidence than ever.
Weaknesses: Daisy is of course still dealing with the neck injury. And she still avoids going up to the top rope. She’ll still do it if she absolutely has to, though. She is still dealing with her depression even though it’s controlled with medication.
RINGSIDE INFORMATION Theme Music: "I Came Back To Bitch” by L7
Entrance Description: "I Came Back To Bitch" hits and hot pink spotlights flash on the entranceway. Daisy steps out onto the stage and poses with her arms out at her sides, bent slightly at the elbow. She strides quickly but confidently towards the ring, occasionally high fiving or fist bumping a few fans. Once in the ring she climbs onto the middle rope and raises a fist towards the crowd. She then climbs down and prepares for the match.
Ring Attire: Her signature piece is her black leather jacket covered in various buttons with feminist/anarchist symbols and slogans. Otherwise her usual wardrobe consists of ripped denim jeans or shorts, feminist/anarchist t-shirts, and black leather combat boots.
MOTIVATIONS What are your character’s motivations for competing? Daisy was never a “naturally gifted” wrestler. She fell in love with the sport at a young age. Despite the fact that she had to work far harder and longer than most of her peers to hit the big time, her passion never died out. Since she “found herself”, she has rededicated herself to her career and her values. So she wrestles for two main reasons. One, she won’t allow herself to give up on her near-lifetime passion. She wants people to fight for their own dreams as she has. Two, she wants to help bring left-wing views more to the mainstream so that people who share those views can feel less alone.
Her losses at Final Destination and Game Over in 2022 have galvanized her into training herself harder than ever before. She's prepared to put in whatever work in takes to finally find tangible success in OWA. She is more focused in playing to her strengths by working more of a striking/brawling style with somewhat less submission use.
